After being pulled from the Cabo Verde island of Sao Vincente by the lure of being a professional football player in the Portuguese team, Tchiss lost himself along the way and ended up mingling and playing with the diaspora musicians in the Italian scene during the early 80s. This career change resulted in a legendary 1984 self pressed debut album that is now a priceless artifact for collectors and subsequently a long career with many recent reissues.
