Ensemble Economique is California-based musician Brian Pyle, who creates music ranging from dark, Shamanic drones to mystical, echo-heavy psych rock to shadow-dwelling goth/darkwave. Active since 2008, he has released numerous albums with such labels as Not Not Fun, Shelter Press, and Hands In The Dark. His latest album, Radiate Through You, something of an expressionist memorial or therapeutic song cycle, is coming out in September 2018 on Denovali Records.

UXVAE (CA) is the duo of M. Adem and B.W. Bray who weave a seamless whole from the threads of avant and modal idioms, creating a musical fabric that transcends traditional boundaries. Encompassing the worlds of ambient, drone, doom metal and layers of folk music, they formulate evocative hanging harmonies, shifting vocal tones and dense, psychedelic guitar layers that intertwine to form an all-encompassing haze.
