Ariel William Orah is a Berlin-based Indonesian artist who explores themes related to identity, memory, and scarcity. He fancies the durability of homo sapiens and the fragility of the machines. He is working with variety of media, ranging from audio and sound sculptures, physical and interactive installations, and moving and/or still images. He co-founded an empathy driven artist collective L-KW in 2015 and Bandung-based progressive rock band “Vincent Vega”, and Indonesian gastronomy initiative SOYDIVISION.BERLIN.

In a greyscale image, each pixel is a tiny representation of an amount of light. There are millions of pixels in a typical photo but each one plays an important, though easily overlooked role. This parallel also runs through Owen Ross' music. Each composition is comprised of a wide range of varying layers and textures, shading a sonic experience that feels simultaneously foreign and familiar. Gritty, analog drum sounds play off lush harmonies as independent elements come together to create a distinct musical whole.

Discovery Zone is the space in which New York born, Berlin based JJ Weihl (also a member of the psych rock band Fenster) explores the relationship between pop music, sound collage and performance. On stage a ceremonial laboratory with vocoder, theremin and electric guitar is created to spark an intimate but fleeting connection with the audience, like life itself, a shared hallucination.

⁣⁣Tonight The Pool, a Berlin based trio (DK/UK/AUS) are celebrating the release of their 3rd album "Smokescreen".
The band has been an active live act on the Berlin club scene since November 2018 and tonight they celebrate their new release with a live set accompanied with visuals by Anders Bigum.
