Founded in Berlin in 2017, Borshch is a biannual print magazine for electronic music on and beyond the dancefloor. It's a space to provoke open dialogues and challenge established ideas about making, listening, and dancing to music.

The Dark Side issue of Borshch features Animistic BeliefsDeena Abdelwahed, Rrose, Lucrecia Dalt, Klein, Alessandro Adriani, and Ziúr who commit to neither darkness nor light. In their process, sins, injustice, and disquiet are as human and real as pleasures and joy.

The issue takes readers in the darkness of sweaty basements and concrete cathedrals and explores obscure electronic music and unsettling environments. Think of entering the dark as an act of coming home, to the cave where the primary source of life is hidden.
