Esmerine & Marc Marcovic feat. FS Blumm

Esmerine was founded in Montreal by Bruce Cawdron (Godspeed You! Black Emperor) and Rebecca Foon (Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Saltland) in 2001.
Their musical cosmos intertwines uniquely elements from so different genres as post rock, neo-classic, new music and non-european folk. Esmerine’s record „Dalmak“, recorded in Istanbul with turkish musicians, won the Juno Award as best instrumental Record in 2014. The new record „Mechanics of Dominion“ was released in the end of 2017 via Constellation Records. On stage Bruce Cawdron (Vibraphone, Percussion) and Rebecca Foon (Cello) will be joined by percussionist Jamie Thompson (The Unicorns, Islands), multi-instrumentalist Brian Sanderson and bass player Jéremi Roy.
