MOUNTAIN CRY presents BZMC and Don't DJ, back together at Arkaoda.

DON'T DJ is the club music-oriented solo project of Florian Meyer, founding member of meta c'est moi, Institut für Feinmotorik, and The Durian Brothers. His focus is on experimental rhythmic structures beyond "4 to the floor." "Diskant #06" is his first vinyl release and the theme of the evening. As a DJ, he regularly performs at Cream (Fukuoka, Japan) and Salon des Amateurs (Düsseldorf), creating eclectic arrangements of postcolonial cultural imperialism.
Black Zone Myth Chant is the latest project from Maxime Primault, a French artist also known for his psychedelic drone alias High Wolf. Associated with Low Jack’s Editions Gravats label, the project pursues an unusual combination of Afro-centric trance music, drone and screwed sounds. His molasses-thick combination of skittering drums and slowly aligning sparkly textures channel fourth world inspirations, while calling out to the mystic and otherwordly.
Marylou will play tunes to open and close.
