Buriti • Maria Latina, Manolo, DJ Trade Trainer and Zum Zum live
Buriti is back for the first party of the year. Two floors at Arkaoda. A sharp, spicy lineup with our favourite DJs and live samba jazz on the dancefloor.
Line up:
Maria Latina
Emerging from Bogotá and now rooted in Madrid, María Latina is a Colombian DJ and a rising talent in the underground scene. She has carved her niche as a selector with unparalleled energy and a natural instinct for creating vibrant, magnetic atmospheres. Known for her refined approach to selection, María crafts sets with both precision and personality. Primarily grounded in house, her style defies genre constraints. With a keen ear for blending sounds, she threads together acid, tech house, and techno, delivering a vibe that is as unexpected as it is electric. Her sets captivate dancers with their unpredictable twists and magnetic energy, reflecting her commitment to pushing creative boundaries.
Manolo
Originally from The USA, Manolo started to learn how to spin records when living in Boston, MA. He left New York City to move to Germany in 2018. Now based in Berlin, Germany he has been able to play various clubs, festivals, and DIY dance floors in Berlin as well other countries Europe and the United States. He is an avid vinyl collector with a multi genre sound but when playing parties he mainly focuses on Disco, 80's and 90s House, Acid House, and more. The easiest way to summarize his taste is that he plays Music for adults.
DJ Trade Trainer
DJ Trade Trainer is the architect of euphoric, Black trans rebellion, merging her expertise as a gender scholar with a visceral sound forged across Atlanta, Detroit, and Berlin. Her sets are a high-BPM manifesto, smashing binaries by igniting the frantic bounce of ghetto tech with the driving thump of cunty house and the percussive fire of LatinCore. This is more than genre fusion—it’s a deliberate, joyous deconstruction where the dancefloor becomes a site of radical self-definition, challenging limits and centering complex desire through sheer sonic force.
João Comazzi
Musician, producer, and DJ based in Berlin, known for his energetic and genre-defying sets. As co-founder of the Púca Sounds label and the Buriti Party series, João creates environments where tropical sounds meet the global underground, blending the organic with the electronic. Each performance is a transcultural journey, where ancestral rhythms and contemporary textures merge, inviting listeners into an immersive exploration of sound, movement, and memory.
